Single origin, Single cultivar, 100% certified organic, First Harvest, Single farm matcha grown at an elevation of 600m from a tiny region called Wazuka, Kyoto by a 350-year-old farm, a 6th tea master who began organic and non-pesticide cultivation in 1980. This tea farm was the first to be organically certified in Japan with tea fields free of pesticides, herbicides, and synthetic fertilisers. The fog of the river here keeps the leaves shaded and the soil just moist enough. The result? smooth, milky, organic first harvest matcha powder with no bitterness. This matcha is naturally grown in a pesticide free environment. Tana shaded for 30 days and aged for 5 months. Stone milled in small batches. Limited quantity available.
